Purity is Beija’s hallmark. The select Brazilian sugarcane used to create Beija is hand-harvested, fresh pressed and single-distilled in small batches on artisanal farms, ensuring Beija’s flavor expresses the natural freshness of virgin sugarcane juice.

By blending artisanal cachaças according to techniques passed down and refined through generations, our master blender is able to isolate and incorporate the finest elements of each individual cachaça. Beija’s uniquely tailored blending process results in a balance and smoothness that simply cannot be matched by traditional cachaças.

Unique and Authentic
Beija is entirely sourced in the states of Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo, the two most famous cachaca producing regions in Brazil.  To date, Beija is the only Virgin Cane Rum recognized by the U.S. Government. Beija was rated “Outstanding – 92 Points” by Tasting Panel Magazine , was named Best in Class at the 2009 New York Spirits Awards and was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2008 International Rum Festival.

Cachaça

Unlike traditional rums, which are distilled from molasses, cachaça is by definition distilled from pure sugarcane juice giving it a distinctly smooth and natural flavor. Cachaça is actually the world’s third most consumed distilled spirit, but in the U.S., it still falls under the broader category of ‘rum.’

In 2003, the Brazilian government named cachaça the country’s national spirit, and today, Brazil is the only country that can produce cachaça.
